Paraphrase: Communication is a fundamental skill that all bachelors should possess. Having the capacity to do so is essential for acquiring work and sustaining an exceptional job performance.
Good job on the citation of the original quote. The paraphrasing is well done as it is shorter than the original quote, while keeping it simple to understand with no loss in meaning. However, the portion missing in the paraphrase is what kind of people (employers) identify communication to be one of the basic competencies every graduate should have. Thank you for this paraphrase, I've definitely understood the original quote better.
